Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine
Dear participants, organizers and visitors of the exhibition,
On behalf of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and me personally, I would like to welcome you all to Ukraine's most meaningful industry event - ALL-UKRAINIAN FOOD TECHNOLOGY WEEK, within the framework of which are held the central exhibitions in the field of equipment, technology and packaging for the food and processing industry "INPRODMASH & UPAKOVKA 2016", as well as bakery "BAKERY UKRAINE" 2016 and confectionery industry "SWEETS UKRAINE 2016".
Food industry is among the most dynamic industries in the real sector of Ukraine's economy. That is why, according to the "3+5" Strategy of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, one of the key targets of the agro-industrial complex are orientation towards the production of value-added products and product certification for entering the global market.
The leading domestic enterprises of the branch are constantly working to expand product range and introduce international product quality maintenance systems. This can be achieved only through constant upgrading of equipment, introduction of innovative technologies, use of new raw materials and modern processing methods.
Active participation of well-known companies in these exhibitions will contribute to further development of the Ukrainian market of equipment, technology and packaging for the food industry, improvement of investment and innovation activities of enterprises as a basis for competitiveness of this industry and further integration of the Ukrainian agro-industrial sector into the world market.
I wish all the participants and visitors of exhibitions interesting meetings, fruitful collaboration and favourable business contacts!

Last 24 August, Ukraine celebrated 25 years of independence. Not only a milestone for the Ukrainians, but also for the business community with a strong affection for Ukraine. It is generally known that the AgriFood industry is the most relevant sector for the development of Ukraine's prosperity, mainly because of the high export potential. The last 25 years a lot has been achieved in Agribusiness, but for sure the next 5 years more will be achieved to show the bright side of Ukraine.
Possessing nearly 30% of the world's black soil, Ukraine has a high potential to become a world player in agricultural business. As an agricultural country Ukraine is already the number 1 global producer and exporter of sunflower oil. Ukraine is also a world player in export of grains, corn, barley, wheat, soya and honey. Actually this is only a start. Vegetables, fruit, berries, mushrooms and poultry also have a high export potential, not only in bulk but especially as processed and/or preserved products. The current challenge is to add a higher value in processing technique and introduce the EU's practices of sustainable agriculture and systems of food safety control. Ukrainian food processing companies should comply with European and global food safety standards like HACCP, BRC and IFS. Once Ukrainian products are export fit, professional collective Ukraine Branding is crucial to complete the sales and marketing strategy.
The Netherlands is the world's 2nd largest exporter of agri-food products, the result of continuous innovations in agri-food value chains. We are ready to share our knowledge and experience with Ukrainian food processing companies.
That's why we participate with a Holland Pavilion in the International Exhibition INPRODMASH & UPAKOVKA 2016. As in 2015 we will participate under the banner of Partners for International Business FoodTechLink Ukraine, a Dutch Public-Private Partnership in food processing and packaging equipment. Through this structural cooperation we are ready to serve the Ukrainian food processing industry in a professional and collective way. All participating companies have their own specialism and are experienced in export of food processing and/or packaging equipment. They believe they can improve their performance and services by collective Dutch cooperation.
A special word of thanks to ACCO International for showing their usual spirit and drive, and using their talents in organizing this professional meeting point for international businesses in food processing and packaging!
Congratulations independent Ukraine, let's go for the next 5 years and show the world!

Association of Bread Baking Industry Enterprises UKRKHLIBPROM
Dear participants, organizers and visitors of the exhibition,
On behalf of the Association of Bread Baking Industry Enterprises UKRKHLIBPROM, I would like to warmly welcome you all to the Ukraine's most representative event - joint exhibition of food and processing industry - the ALL-UKRAINIAN FOOD TECHNOLOGY WEEK.
Bread has always been a symbol of good intentions and well-being, an essential product. Bread is the basis of our existence, social peace and well-being of society and the baking industry is considered to be the flagship of the food industry of the state. Therefore, UKRKHLIBPROM Association and ACCO International Exhibition Company made a joint decision to create a separate exhibition project - International Specialized Exhibition of Baking Industry BAKERY UKRAINE - within the framework of this Forum.
UKRKHLIBPROM Association and the organizer of this exhibition, ACCO International Exhibition Company, hope that this exhibition will not leave anyone indifferent - neither the manufacturer of bakery product, nor the consumer, nor the process equipment manufacturer, nor the developer of new technologies. We hope that this exhibition will become a real reflection of the modern condition of the market of equipment, technologies and packaging for the food industry.
Professionals of the baking industry will have an opportunity to learn much new and useful information that will contribute to further development of Ukraine's baking enterprises, the expansion of bakery products' assortment and the improvement of quality as the basis for the competitiveness of the baking industry.
I wish you all successful work, well-being and prosperity!
Director General of UKRKHLIBPROM Association
Association of Producers of confectionery, food concentrate in Ukraine UKRKODPROM
Dear participants, organizers and visitors of the exhibitions,
On behalf of Ukrkondprom Association, I would like to warmly welcome you to the 21st International Specialized Exhibition of Confectionery Industry SWEETS UKRAINE 2016, which is held within the framework of the All-Ukrainian Food Technology Week.
Confectionery industry is an important constituent part of the real sector of Ukraine's economy and an integrator of many sub-industries of the Ukrainian food industry, namely flour-grinding, sugar, oil and fat, canned milk, alcohol, wine-making, starch, food concentrates, fruit tinning, fruit drying and packaging industry. During the years of Ukraine's independence, confectionery industry, that has great potential, has become one of the most export-oriented branches of the food industry. Highly qualified staff, high quality raw materials and European standards have created its reliable basis and high international prestige. The above-mentioned can be evidenced by the fact that nowadays Ukrainian confectionery is exported to over 50 countries of the world.
Holding of SWEETS UKRAINE became a good tradition for all producers and fans of sweets. Interest in this exhibition is growing, despite the high degree of saturation of the domestic market with domestic bakery and confectionery products. This suggests that high quality and competitiveness of Ukrainian products, combined with the achievements of the best companies operating in this field, received high praise from the most discerning of consumers.
I am convinced that this exhibition will strengthen the position of domestic producers in the market of bakery and confectionery products and encourage them to seek new partners, establish fruitful business relations and improve investment and innovation activity.
I wish all the participants and visitors of the exhibition interesting meetings and fruitful cooperation!
President of Ukrkondprom Association
National Association of Milkmen of Ukraine UKRMOLPROM
Dear participants, organizers and visitors of the exhibition!
On behalf of the National Association of Milkmen of Ukraine UKRMOLPROM and me personally, I would like to welcome you all to our country's most ambitious industry forum ALL-UKRAINIAN FOOD TECHNOLOGY WEEK.
Most important is that this combined exhibition, which brought under one roof the suppliers of processing and refrigeration equipment, packaging for the food and processing industry, attracts domestic manufacturers of food and dairy products and becomes one of the most interesting events both in Ukraine and abroad.
Despite objective difficulties, domestic milk processing plants are looking for new opportunities to carry out re-equipment and develop new product types. This allows them to work effectively, produce high quality products and put them on the shelves in a large variety. Ukrainian producers are increasing their export potential. As of today, dairy products of Ukrainian production are exported to 90 countries of the world and the top 12 manufacturers received Euro numbers, what confirms the production of products according to the European standards.
We hope that this forum will be of interest to consumers of Ukrainian dairy products, as well as specialists of milk processing plants - potential buyers of technologies, equipment, packaging that, as a result, will contribute to mutually beneficial cooperation, enhance partnership and conclusion of new agreements.
I wish all exhibition participants peace, happiness, health and prosperity, as well as successful and fruitful meetings, interesting ideas and their successful implementation!
Chairman of the Board of the National Association UKRMOLPROM
National Association of Meat and Meat Product Makers UKRMYASO
Dear organizers, participants and visitors of the exhibition,
On behalf of the National Association of Meat and Meat Product Makers UKRMYASO and me personally, I would like to welcome you to the ALL-UKRAINIAN FOOD TECHNOLOGY WEEK.
The most ambitious exhibitions of this forum are the international specialized exhibitions of equipment and technologies for the food and processing industry INPRODMASH & UPAKOVKA, where the latest equipment and innovative solutions, primarily for the meat processing industry, are demonstrated. The high status of these exhibitions, which are the same age as our country, is confirmed by the certificate of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and a high prestige among experts of the meat industry.
It is also important that, despite the difficult economic situation, meat industry overcomes adversity and continues to produce and provide the population with products that are considered the best in the world.
I am convinced that this joint exhibition will once again demonstrate the best practices in the processing of agricultural raw materials and become a traditional meeting place for the leading domestic and foreign experts in the food and packaging industry, as well as a bridge for the establishment of effective business contacts between sellers and consumers of equipment and technologies for the meat industry.
I wish you all successful and fruitful work, interesting meetings and good contracts!

Food industry concentrates efforts of the entire agricultural sector and creates additional value that enriches the country. Under current conditions, it is not enough just to produce raw materials. Our task is to gear national economy toward innovative production, development and promotion of the brand MADE IN UKRAINE. Our priorities include not only European quality standards, but also the European way of life, ideals of a healthy and balanced diet, organic production and support of local production traditions.
Participants of the exhibition have an opportunity to familiarize oneself with the entire technological cycle, current production standards and final results of meticulous work. The All-Ukrainian Food Technology Week is a unique platform for communication of all producers, buyers and suppliers of products from the entire manufacturing spectrum. Business communication is the basis for ambitious projects to be implemented in our country.
Despite the economic, military and political difficulties, Ukrainian manufacturers continue active and creative work. It is through our joint work that Ukraine will reach new heights and assert itself as a quality and reliable international partner.
I wish all the participants and visitors of exhibitions inspiration and business success!

President of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine,
Dear visitors and participants!
I wrote this welcome speech on 25th August, the day after Ukraine celebrated 24 years of Independence. Walking on the central streets of Kyiv, I witnessed the strong spirit and drive of the Ukrainian people: we are proud to be Ukrainians and we will never give up our independence! The same spirit is needed for building up Ukrainian export relations with the 28 countries of the European Union, a market with more than 500 million consumers.
Everybody knows that agri-food industry is the most significant sector for the development of Ukraine's export potential. But a potential should not only be recognized and confirmed, it should be developed in an integrated and structural way. Earlier this year, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine has taken concrete initiatives to stimulate and support export activities. Most relevant is that Ukrainian food processing companies should get ready for export to the European Union. Food safety conditions (HACCP, BRC, IFS) are key!
As the 5th largest exporter of goods in the world, the Netherlands occupies a prominent position, when it comes to world trade. The Netherlands is even the world's 2nd largest exporter of agri-food products after the United States, but before Germany, Brazil and France. For decades, the Dutch agriculture sector has succeeded in maintaining its lead over international competitors through continuous investment in innovation in agri-food value chains. We are ready to share that knowledge and experience with Ukrainian food processing companies!
That's why we participate with a Holland Pavilion in the International Exhibition Inprodmash & Upakovka 2015. This year's participation is dedicated to "Partners for International Business 'FoodTechLink Ukraine", a Dutch Public-Private Partnership in food processing and packaging equipment. Through this structural cooperation we are ready to serve the Ukrainian food processing industry in a professional and collective way. All participating companies have their own specialism and are experienced in export of food processing and/or packaging equipment. They believe they can improve their performance and services by collective Dutch collaboration. Actually the same spirit I saw yesterday on Maidan Nezalezhnosti: we strongly believe in our mission!
A special word of thanks to ACCO International for showing again their experience, talent and dedication to organize this professional meeting point for international businesses in food processing and packaging!
